Make arcade shoot'em up games easily using this Game Maker Studio 2 template project!

All you need to start making classic arcade shmups is right here!

Note:

Highly specific content like enemy movement patterns, upgrades,... should be coded yourself. This is a basic framework to get you started.

Open up the project in Game Maker Studio 2 to start.

Everything is documented to a high degree within the template, making it easy to understand. A readme file is included to get you started. All code is commented so that even beginners/intermediates to Game Maker Studio 2 can try this.

This template is designed for use with Game Maker Studio 2 only.

You can make any arcade shoot'em up game you desire with this, both commercially and non-commercially. Do not resell the template project by itself, it is meant to make original products with.
